Motorola Xoom Review, feature and specifications

Motorola Xoom will launch in India later this month. It comes with a 10.1-inch 1080p HD display with 16:9 aspet ratio, powered by dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC processor and runs on Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb with a 1GB RAM.

The Xoom comes with a rear 5MP camera with dual LED Flash, 720p video recording capabilities and a 2MP front camera with fixed focus. It comes with 32GB of storage. On software side it support Adobe Flash Player 10.2 and an Android 3.1 update is already available.

The sensors of Motorola Xoom includes accelerometer, magnetometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and barometer. Even location based services are covered with the eCompass, A-GPS and Google Maps services.Motorola Xoom's connectivity options are rich. It comes with Bluetooth 2.1+EDR+HID, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n) and optional Wi-Fi+3G models. It is equipped with micro USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 1.4 out and 3.5mm audio port.

Currently we dont have the price range and exact-day availability in India.Any way we can guess that the price will be between 25K~35K.

ViewSonic 10-inch tablet Official review

At Computex trade show ViewSonic displayed its dual OS tablet running on on Intel's newest Atom processor, Oak Trail. The ViewPad 10Pro runs Android 2.2 and Windows 7 Professional and are mainly intended for business personals.

The ViewPad 10Pro is powerful both in hardware and software. Also,switching between the two OSes can be done easily by tappng an icon on the display without turning off the syatem.

Weighing slightly more than 830 grams, the ViewPad 10 Pro comes equipped with Intel's Oak Trail Z670 1.5GHz processor, 3G, 32GB Internal storage, 3500 mAh battery and dual cameras.

The ViewPad 10 Pro will first hit the Taiwan market at a price of $799 in june and will reach Asia Pacific in July.

Toshiba Thrive tablet features and price

Toshiba Thrive tablet has a 10.1 inch capacitive touch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution is powered by a 1GHz Dual core Tegra 2 processor and most probably it will be running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0.

The Toshiba Thrive tablet has a 32GB internal memory and a full SD card slot for external storage.It has a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.
The cost of Thrive will be around $579. It will be launched soon as in India.The Thrive tablet has been listed for pre-orders on US retail website jr.com, at prices of $449 for the 8 GB version and $579 for the 32 GB version.

ARNOVA 8 Tablet features, pricing and specifications

The Archos Arnova 8 is a budget tablet.The Archos Arnova 8 tablet runs on Google Android 2.1 OS Eclair and packs a 8-inch resistive touchscreen TFT LCD display which maintain 800 x 600 pixel, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/gand also also support for 720p HD video playback.It is is equipped with USB 2.0 port, microSD card slot, speakers, microphone, and a Lithium Polymer battery for up to 5.5 hours of video playback, up to 25 hours in music playback.

iPad 2 now available in India

After their lauch in US (one month before) apple had come to India wither their new ipad the Ipad2.Indian consumers will be able to buy iPad2 from April 29. The cheapest model with 16GB storage and without 3G has been priced at Rs 29,500. The top model with 64GB storage and 3G will be available for Rs 46,900.The iPad 2 is thinner and lighter than its predecessor.Ipad 2 has a 9.7-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen Multi-Touch display with IPS technology which has 1024-by-768-pixel resolution. The screen comes with a Fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating.It is powered with a 1GHz dual-core Apple A5 processor wich has low-power system-on-a-chip. The rear camera is capable of 720p HD video with 5x digital zoom. The front-facing camera, for video conferencing, is VGA. It has Support for display of multiple languages and characters simultaneously. The connectivity options include Wi-F 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR technology, 3G. Sony's new android 3.0 tablets S1 and S2

Sony unveils two new tablet designs S1 and S2.Both are code names.The s1 is mainly targeted for media entertainment while s2 is for mobile communication as well as entertainment.Both of these will be available worldwide starting in the fall(Q4 2011).

S1 features

The S1 has a 9.4-inch (1280-by-800) touch-screen display and front and rear cameras.It is equipped with the Android 3.0 operating system and be WiFi and WAN (3G/4G) compatible powered by Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor.

Sony offer app. access via Qriocity music and movie services and the PlayStation Suite, a framework for downloading and buying PlayStation content on Android tablets.An e-book content will be available from the Sony Reader Store.

S1 features

The S2 is a cylindrical, clamshell device that opens and closes, with two 5.5-inch touch-screen displays. The screens on the S2 can be used together as one large screen to browse websites or separately--for example, checking email on one and using the other as a soft keyboard.It is equipped with the Android 3.0 operating system and be WiFi and WAN (3G/4G) compatible powered by Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor.

Lenovos new Anroid tablet called Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet

Lenovo ThinkPad tablet will run on Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS and have optional pen input as well as a portfolio case with a built-in keyboard, allowing you to use the tablet like a laptop.

The ThinkPad tablet will have a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor and a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 pixel IPS display. It will have front and rear cameras, and 16GB to 64GB of storage. The tablet will have a capacitive touch panel & also active digitizer for pen input.

In addition to the keyboard case and pen input, the tablet will offer remote desktop software and cloud collaboration software for accessing apps and documents on the go. It also has WiFi and 3D connectivity and HDMI output.It comes with USB, mini-USB, mini-HDMI (with 1080p support), an SD card slot, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G connectivity

IT measures 0.55 inches thick and weighs 1.6 pounds.It will be available from July or August with a price tag around $499.

HTC Flyer tablet pre order sales, features, pricing and specifications

Best Buy will starts it pre order sales for the HTC Flyer tablet on Sunday, April 24th. The Flyer goes on sale in Europe on May 9th and it will be available in the US later this spring, and it will sell for $499.

The HTC Flyer features a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen display which can also accept pressure-sensitive input from an included stylus,1GB of DDR2 RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 5 megapixel rear facing camera . The tablet has a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon single core processor and runs a customized version of Google Android ‘Gingerbread’ 2.3 with HTC’s Sense UI. An Android 3.0 Honeycomb update is expected later this year.

Archos 7c Tablet features, pricing and specifications

Archos 7c Tablet is a 7-inch tablet that offers a capacitive (800 x 480) display with Android 2.1Eclair runs on a powerful 1.2GHz Rockchip 2918 ARM Cortex-A8 processor. Other specs include 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, two built-in speakers, and a kickstand.Archos 7c Home Tablet is shipping in the US for $220 on June arrival.

Dell Streak Pro features, pricing and specifications

Dell Streak Pro comes with a 10-inch WXGA 1280×800 resolution display, it runs on an Android 3.0 Honeycomb which is powered by NVIDIA Tegra T25 processor. It works on Stage 1.5 user interface.

It comes with 2 microphones and it is Data Only device which means no phone calls.It will be a WiFi-only model, with a modular modem for mobile broadband access.The tablet will be expected to release in June, but it can be further delayed also.currently there is no news about availability and pricing.

Dell Streak 7 features price and specifications

Dell Streak 7 features a seven-inch (800x480 pixel) touch screen with Gorilla Glass, powered by a Nvidia Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core processor,has dual cameras, 16GB of of onboard memory and it works on Android 2.2.

The processor provide enough power for brilliant multi-tasking and multi-media functionality. Other noticeable features include 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 mega-pixel front facing camera, WiFi , 3G and Bluetooth connectivity.The UI will be updated to Android 3.0 after release. A SIM free version is now available for the Dell Streak 7 and can be bought from Dell for £299.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 price,features and specifications

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1. The release date for the 8.9 version is not yet announced but the latter Wi-Fi only version is available on june 8, 2011 in the US.Samsung plans to launch the device in India 30 days after its global launch.

The 10.1-inch 16GB version is priced at $499 and the 32GB at $599 . The 8.9-inch 16GB version cost you $469 and $569 for the 32GB one. The pricing of the 3G versions is not known yet.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has an 8.9-inch WXGA TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1200 x 800. The device is just 8.6mm thin(0.036mm thinner than the iPad 2). TheGalaxy Tab 8.9 is also lighter than the iPad 2 by 131gms. It is equipped with NVidia’s dual core Tegra 2 processor clocked at 1 GHz running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb, has Samsung's TouchWiz 4.0 layer and Flash 10.2 support. Devices will have 3MP rear camera with flash and can record video at 720p HDwith AF with LED flash and a front 2MP camera, 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi, USB port, Bluetooth and DDR2 based RAM.

The devices are HSPA+ capable so users will get up to 21 Mbps download speeds depending on the operator. The tablets have better Flash support, full HTML web rendering capabilities, better power management, and a neater user interface.The device also comes with surround Sound stereo speakers, full HD video playback. The device also claims to have a battery life of 10 hours from its 6800-mAh battery.

The 10.1-inch has the same specification and it weighs 595gms.
