At the CeBIT 2011 Asus introduced their new Honeycomb Tablet, named ASUS Eee Pad MeMO.The new ASUS Eee Pad MeMO Tablet runs on all new Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system.

The new ASUS Eee Pad MeMO Tablet equips a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 pixels (WSVGA) resolution and is powered with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260 processor along with 1GB of SDRAM and comes in 8GB to 64GB flash storage options.

 New ASUS Eee Pad MeMO Honeycomb Tablet Features 5MP rear camera, a 1.2MP front facing camera for video calls, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, HSPA+, GPS, proximity and light sensors, G-sensor, a digital compass, built-in stylus, MicroUSB port, MicroHDMI slot for external display connectivity and a MicroSD card slot.

The all new ASUS Eee Pad MeMO Tablet's battery provides up to 8 hours of video playback life.The tablet weighs 389.16 grams and its dimensions are 197 x 117 x 11.5 mm.

Asus Eee Pad MeMO tablet will be available for sale by later this year 2011 with a price tag of about $700.

Apple just recently introduced its much heard much waited 2nd Generation iPad, named Apple iPad 2.The new Apple iPad 2 was launched at the event held in San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

The new Apple iPad 2 also comes with the same 9.7-inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels at 132 pixels per inch.The new Apple iPad 2 has a thickness of just 8.8mm and weighs 1.3 pounds makes its 33 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter compared to Apple iPad.

Apple iPad 2 comes powered with the new dual-core 1GHz A5 System-on-Chip processor makes the iPad 2 much faster and quicker in multi-tasking, video recording, FaceTime video calls and Application loading.According to the information the new Graphics core provides about nine times better visual performance than its predecessor.

Apple also announced that the new iPad 2 will also be available in White color along with the normal black shade.The appearance of new iPad 2 is also similar to the first generation ipad with a slimmer structure.

New Apple iPad 2 as expected comes with Dual cameras: a 5X digital zoom capability megapixel camera at the back which also helps in recording 720p HD video and a VGA front facing camera helps in video chating.The connectivity features includes 3G network support, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.The iPad 2 also packs new HDMI cable connector for connecting to a HD display. 

The new Apple iPad 2 battery also provides about 10 hours usage life as the first generation iPad.
